We know that each practice is individual, but we also acknowledge that the studio is a shared space. In order to guarantee the best experience possible for each student, Selfless Love Yoga requests that all students follow the guidelines and policies provided below:

  • Please choose your class package carefully. There will be NO extensions on class packages of any type or time period (exceptions will only be made for serious injury/illness, etc). There will be no sharing or transferring of class passes.

  • There must be at least two paying students for a class to run.

  • PLEASE refrain from wearing perfumes/colognes or other strongly scented fragrances.

  • Cell phones should be turned to silent or off upon entering the studio. NO cell phones are permitted in the studio room.

  • Plan to arrive at least five minutes before the scheduled class time to check in, store your belongings, and get settled in on your mat. If you arrive late, please wait in the seated area until the teacher has taken the class out of meditation/surrender.

  • Please remove your shoes upon entering Selfless Love Yoga as a form of respect for the ancient tradition of the East and to support the clean environment that we maintain. Shoes are NOT to be worn onto the practice floor.

  • Upon your arrival to the studio, please check-in at the desk prior to placing your mat down.

  • A signed release form is required of all students who practice in the studio. If you have not signed a release form, please obtain a copy at the reception desk, or download it here.

  • If you are pregnant, have serious health conditions or injuries, have had any health changes, or feel as if there is something the instructor should know, please alert the them before class. This is the student's responsibility to ensure their own safety throughout the class.

  • Do not step on other students’ yoga mats.

  • Mats are loaned for free, but the student is responsible for spraying/wiping it down before returning it.

  • After class, please fold blankets back to the form in which you received them and return all props in a neat and orderly manner.

  • Always listen to your body, as you are truly your most important teacher! You should never be pushing yourself into any pain.

  • We kindly ask that controversial topics not be discussed within the walls of Selfless Love Yoga. This includes, but is not limited to politics, vaccinations, COVID, etc.
